Speaker Adaptors Questions

Q. Why is the adaptor for smaller speakers than my originals?
A. Sometimes there is not enough room behind a door card to accept the magnet size of an aftermarket speaker equivalent to the OEM, so a smaller unit is required.

Q. Why do I need a speaker adaptor?
A. Some original speakers are unusual shapes, low depths or have obscure mounting point.  An adaptor enables the fitment of a standard speaker within these confines.

Q. Do I need to by separate wiring adaptors?
A. If you are purchasing a speaker adaptor, any wiring that is required will be included with the adaptor plate.  If you are adapting the vehicle without the aid of an adaptor plate, then you will need to check if your vehicle requires a wiring adaptor from the PC2-8?? range.
